This start-up company from Eindhoven, Netherlands, consisting of 40 people is looking for a talented software engineer. This organization is committed, in the healthcare sector, and specializes in developing and manufacturing surgical robots and related instruments for surgery procedures. Their products aim to provide surgeons with greater precision and control during complex surgical procedures, such as nerve repairs and lymphatic surgery. The flagship product is a robotic system with the potential to revolutionize msurgery and improve patient outcomes
Position
As a developer you will be working on the surgical robots, developing C++ code (C++ 20) and reviewing code for colleagues. Your tasks include developing software algorithms, designing and implementing software architecture, and collaborating with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components. You may also be responsible for creating user interfaces and ensuring the software meets regulatory requirements for medical devices.
Team
Together with 8 talented and dedicated engineers, you will work together in a hard-working environment where friendliness, enthusiasm and hard work prevail. Engineers develop Linux- and firmware-side. Because of the nature of the product, software development is subjected to medical software regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience as a C++ developer (OOA/OOD principles included)
- Experience in developing software that has common ground with embedded electronics and firmware
- Experience in developing software in a medical (IEC-62304), or different regulated, environment is a plus
- Ability to work in SCRUM teams with a DevOps setup
- Outstanding English communication skills in writing and speech
- Hands-on mentality, flexible, and excited to work in a small team
